Editorial Policy
The standards that govern sourcing, product selection, testing labels, independence, updates, and conflicts of interest.

Every published page must answer a distinct kitchen question or support a real decision. We do not publish thin pages created by swapping product names, filler articles, fake quotes, fabricated reviews, or unsupported performance claims.
Evidence and attribution
- Measurable claims should be checked against current manuals, manufacturer documentation, standards, or authoritative public guidance.
- Editorial judgments are labeled as judgments rather than facts.
- Sources are listed where they materially support the guide.
- Health, safety, energy, and performance language is qualified to match the evidence.
Testing labels
'Hands-on tested' is reserved for documented firsthand testing with genuine notes, original photographs, test dates, and an identified reviewer. Research based on manuals, specifications, or public owner feedback uses a different evidence label.
Commercial independence
Affiliate eligibility, merchant commission, advertising relationships, and product availability do not automatically improve a product's editorial position. Sponsored content, if ever accepted, will be labeled before the content and will not receive an automatic favorable recommendation.
Updates and corrections
Fact-check and update dates reflect real editorial work. Substantive corrections are logged; minor spelling and formatting fixes may be made without a change log when they do not alter meaning.
